Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Exceptional, elegant, outstanding. Our waitress, was pleasant, courteous, gracious, considerate, thoughtful, understanding, accommodating, attentive and professional. Every dish was exceptional. Chef was superb. Staff was superb. Bartender superb that made the drinks for the table. Spice Girl with Buffalo Trace and other spices was excellent. Old fashion smoked bourbon was perfectly prepared, highly enjoyable and greatly appreciated. Waitress was superb. Maître d' was very understanding and accommodating to provide our take of four with a high top seating. Genuine thanks to all.

Great place. we went there for a birthday celebration. Never been there before and we were very pleased. Staff was warm and friendly and our server Jeff, was fantastic. My wife had the scallops and I had the yellow fin tuna. Both were exellent choices. We will be back.

The fancy crispy chicken sandwich was delicious but very messy to eat as a sandwich. I'm not sure I would change anything but perhaps offer a wet nap to patrons. 😊
