- SSkipVIPGreater Boston •70 reviews5.0Dined todayThis was a celebratory birthday lunch for two. We were promptly seated in our requested preferred location. The window-side views are unparalleled just about anywhere. Both the host and server greeted my wife by name and wished her a happy birthday. Service from Kate was professional and most friendly. Food was quite tasty. If I had to dig for a criticism, my wife's lobster and corn chowder was served at the same time as her lobster role. We did not think we needed to specify chowder first. I think the kitchen should have known better. This is not an everyday dining room, and if you're looking for a value meal, the value is in the extraordinary atmosphere and bold ocean view. This is truly a special occasion venue. We would do it again in a heartbeat.More infoThe Tiller Restaurant at Cliff HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Ogunquit•4.7

- DDebbieGreater Boston •20 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI brought my parents there and we had a seat overlooking the ocean which was so nice. It is such a cool place to go and the bar looks like a lot of fun as well. Have to try that next time! Food and service were very good. An added bonus - the show we were seeing was at Blue Ocean Music Hall which is in same building.More infoSeaglass Restaurant and LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Salisbury•4.6

- SSusanNew York City •25 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024We went to Chez Rosa’s for the Christmas Prelude Prix Fix …so very happy we did! This chef curated meal with wine pairings was absolutely top shelf. We both had the pate basque with marcona almonds and piquillo pepper mustard, paired with a sparkling Marie Pierre ma coat-cremat de Bourgogne. The wine played off the rustic pork pate nicely. Main course, I chose the Maine scallops with roasted parsnips & carrots, and a lobster mage with thinly sliced grapes, which was paired with a pouilly guise from Dominique Cornin. This meal was heavenly in every aspect! My husband chose the braised beef short rib with a sweet potato tartiflette, wilted greens and an au poivre sauce paired with an aux lieux-dits gigondas from Domaine Santa Duc. His beef was fork tender and deeply flavorful. The taritiflette was a perfect foil for the rich beef . The wine! Blackberry fruit forward without being a jam jar…silky tannins…yum! Neither of us had ever had opera cake, so that was an easy choice…and a great choice. Chestnut, chocolate ganache and velvety butter cream paired with a chenin blanc …perfect end to a perfect meal! Our server Sean was attentive and informative, genuinely interested in the diners in his charge. If you love good food and wine, do not hesitate to dine at Chez Rosa’s….you won’t regret it!More infoChez RosaPrice: Expensive• French• Kennebunkport•4.9
