- SSteveNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOverall brilliant experience, food , service, staff all excellent, let down by the front door being constantly left open to allow a bitter freezing cold wind into the room , no one wants to sit in a bar paying almost £20 for 2 drinks freezing cold , suggested putting a self closing arm on the door , the lady took this onboard, and said she would pass on our suggestion, room was also very cold , you should not be paying £220 for a room to have to put a dressing gown and have to get into bed .More infoThe Joiners ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Alnwick•4.3
- RRyanManchester/Greater Manchester •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoDined here with my girlfriend for our valentines meal, my steak was perfect however my girlfriend's steak came slightly overcooked; easy mistake to make it was very busy. We mentioned this to the staff and they were great. They allowed her to finish what she liked and gave us a full replacement meal with no extra charge even gave her a filet steak when she initially ordered the rump. The lady who served us was fantastic unfortunately I was unable to get her name however she was kind , understanding and reassuring when we mentioned the issue with her steak. Amazing customer service would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing meal.More infoHawksmoor ManchesterPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Manchester•4.7

I didn't get the blonde waitresses name but she was really friendly and attentive. We would recommend and come back again :)More infoBrucoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Manchester•4.8
- MMalcolm WOxford/Oxfordshire •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAnother delicious meal at The Jolly Fisherman. Service was professional, fast and efficient. The view from the restaurant with the wild crashing waves was spectacular. Can be relied upon to create the perfect start to our regular short breaks. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It always meets our needs.More infoJolly Fisherman at CrasterPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Craster•4.7
- MMikeNewcastle and Northumberland •11 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Feb 2025My wife and I made our first visit to The Broad Chare for lunch, upstairs in the dining room, to celebrate my birthday, and what an excellent choice we made. We decided to mark the occasion by having the T-bone steak to share - we realised that neither of us had ever had that cut before - and I can't imagine it could be better. The meat was perfectly cooked, the blue cheese salad was delicious, it was a memorable dish. The starters were excellent as well - can't say much about the desserts because all we were capable of by that stage was lemon sorbet each! When we arrived there was only one other table occupied, but it soon filled up and was a really good atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and efficient. A bit pricy, but it was a birthday lunch and definitely worth it!More infoThe Broad CharePrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
