Best Brunch Restaurants in Millbrae

The food and the staff are absolutely amazing! It can be a bit snug as a bug for seating if it’s just your or two dining - but it’s not uncomfortable. This is definitely one of my favorite go-to restaurants and will probably create any excuse to be in the area so I can eat her (^_^)

This French restaurant, at the corner of Primrose and Chapin Aves in Burlingame, is well worth a 5-star rating on all counts. Modern, yet subtle, decor, unobtrusive period music in the background, excellent and varied selections, ample portions, and fantastic service provide a reason to return time and time again. Our party of three enjoyed the rack of lamb, the lobster ravioli, and the cassoulet. Each dish showed the attention and skills of a master chef. In addition to a la carte choices, they offer a prix fixe menu at $65 that provides an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert, with no menu exceptions, for this very sensible price. The restaurant offers a broad selection of wines and beer but does not have a full bar so anyone in need of a cocktail before dinner may feel temporary disappointment. Nonetheless, Chou Chou is fine dining!

I made a rather last minute reservation for four at Mykonos Meze. Procrastination like this often leads to disappointment. Not this time! Our Christmas evening experience was incredible, beginning before we even walked through the doors: the brightly lite Christmas tree twinkling in the front window made for a frame-worthy picture. The staff were just the right level of friendly, and it wasn't long before we were made to feel like longtime customers, though we had never been here. The ambience inside with the magenta accent lighting, table lamps and holiday decorations, was magical. Most importantly, the food was amazing. All of it! We can't wait to return, try different things and really become those regulars.

Wonderful! Had the sea bass— which was a whole small fish with lovely potato’s, asparagus and sauces. Had linguini with seafood. Full of juicy fat prawns, shrimp, scallops, mussels. The sauce was exquisite? Wine flights, yummy bread with dipping oil, salad so delicate, cheesecake for desert. I am in heaven here! Great staff!

The bartender was friendly and attentive. Good vibes with a smile
