- PPamHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe sat in the large patio area outside. It was very pleasant, with balmy weather and light trade winds, and we liked the live music (a solo guitarist/singer). We ordered from the Happy Hour menu and the food and drinks were inexpensive. Even though the restaurant was busy we were served quickly. My friend ordered the local shrimp and chips and I had the tempura fish and chips. Our waitress brought us a small glass of Prosecco (no charge) before our meal arrived. The food was delicious and well prepared. The coating on the seafood was light and crispy (not greasy). The service was excellent. Shout outs to our pleasant and friendly waitress Mahina and to the host Kody. We liked the restaurant so much we came back for dessert the same evening after we attended a music event!More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.8
- TTheresiaHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had our annual gathering at Basalt and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect for a fun catch up among friends. The food was on point and delicious. The Broccoli Bisque and Miso Cod were the table favorites, however, everything was delicious and the desserts, oh my! sinfully tasty. The staff was attentive, and even being served by the manager on duty, who also checked on us here and there. Mahalo to Managers, Kaulana & Ron, Server Matt & his team, and of course, Chef Tim. 5+ stars! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!More infoBasalt Restaurant @ Dukes Lane Market and EateryPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Waikiki•4.6
- LlynetteHawaii •25 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was my son's 37th bday. We celebrated it although it was bitter-sweet as the last time he was there, we were celebrating it with his younger brother who passed 5 years ago. So I wanted to take my son to where he and his brother both were there to celebrate their 24th and 19th bday. They are ONLY 2 days apart. My son ordered the pork chops and he seemed to enjoy it while I noticed that it was a little too pinkish/reddish color? So we got our server to take it back as he agreed that it was a lil too pink and they prepared another one and THAT WAS VERY VERY good! They made up for it too as they gave him a very nice Macnut pie with HAPPY BIRTHDAY printed on a sm bar of chocolate. We love Mariposa~we will always have fond memories there. I always have the crab and shrimp Loui Salad~excellent as always. The popovers and the consommé soup is always a hit! - SSusanHawaii •12 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOverall a great experience! I was there primarily for the crab legs which were excellent. All the meat came out whole and clean which is a good indicator of goos quality crab legs. The prime rib was a little chewy but everything tasted really good. The service was excellent and attentive and I'd definitely do this brunch again.More infoBird of ParadisePrice: Moderate• American• Kapolei•4.3
