Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more.     Bistro Vendome turned out to be the ideal place for my wife and I to spend Valentine’s Day, which was as well our 49th wedding anniversary. The decor is charming and of course reminded us of Paris. The staff are friendly and sophisticated and the service was superb and timely. I enjoyed the French onion soup and the Coq au vin and my wife had the trout with a wonderful cucumber salad . I highly recommend the wine selection and of course to top things off they have a dessert treat called the chocolate bomb, which was a delicious and fitting end to a great dinner in a place with lively atmosphere.

    Great hidden Gem across from University Hospital. Was a little skeptical of a hotel establishment but was pleasantly surprised . The Denver Dip is one of the best appetizers I have had in awhile . Good staff and quick service . Would recommend.

    Chilaquiles are rojo and my preference is verde but dang they were great! The BLT w/ egg and Avocado was also awesome. Highlight of the meal tho… that cinnamon roll!
