- DDavidPittsburgh / Western PA •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had 2 dinners off the valentine menu. Started with blue crab soup and small wedge salad. Both very good. Entrees we had were phyllo salmon. Tender and amazing done medium. Other was lobster ravioli with parm crusted shrimp. Again delicious. Definitely will go back. Servers were great as well.More infoWalnut Grill - Washington PAPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Washington•4
- BBruceVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •26 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAlways an excellent experience with excellent service. We shared the beet salad and I can't believe that I thought that it needed more arugula (not a super fan of arugula) but there was generous portions of the cheese and the delicious candied walnuts. I had the filet which was great with ample portions. My partner had the crab cakes which were above average (but we are crab cake snobs as my family was from the Eastern Shore of MD (home of the blue crab) as we prefer them broiled rather than fried. The Black Manhattan was tasty but I have to remember to order it straight up because it came on a pile of ice which I had to dig out. It was a Valentine's Day celebration and a nice night.More infoBistro 19Price: Expensive• American• Mt. Lebanon•4.7
- DDougPittsburgh / Western PA •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe have dined around the world, Michelin stars, celebrity chefs, yadda, yadda, yadda. That said, this was the most perfect dining experience I can recall, MAYBE since an outing to Le Bernardin a decade ago - but different from that in every way. The space, the ambiance - exuding the warmth of a tavern - the quality of the directly sourced ingredients, the impeccable preparation (including PERFECT technique on some oft-challenging game meats) and most of all, the SERVICE, could not have been more perfect. Not stuffy, not pretentious - just down to earth people who know what they’re doing and what to do it with - letting the ingredients speak for themselves. Outstanding. And a special shout out to Johnny - host, waiter, bartender extraordinaire. Bravo!More infoLatitude 48Price: Very Expensive• American• Finleyville•4.6
