Best Brunch Restaurants in Brookhaven

Always love the quality of food & high level service here! My only issue was I wanted plain mashed potatoes with braised Cabernet short ribs plate instead of horseradish potatoes and kitchen sent me the wrong one. Server said she submitted my request but unfortunately I had to wait 10 minutes for the correct potatoes. Still a winning location & will be back soon.

We have been to Rothman's many times and always enjoy our experience. The food is always excellent. My personal preference is the porterhouse. Our server was amazing, very attentive, kind and courteous. It was our wedding anniversary, and it was so nice that this was recognized. It makes it extra special. Just a suggestion if booking for an anniversary or birthday, request main dining room. It's much more romantic and livelier.

What an incredible hidden gem in my own backyard! I've driven past this restaurant a million times and didn't realize that the experience of a cozy, charming Cafe with amazing food was so easily accessible. I almost want to keep the secret to myself but it's too good!!!

This place is top rated for all the right reasons. The ambiance is beautiful and spacious, leaving enough room to have tables just the right distance apart to have private conversations. Our server was pleasant and gave a few suggestions on menu items to try. For appetizers we had the wedge salad and lamb meatballs. The wedge salad was good but had a little too much dressing for my liking. A little less goes a longer way. The lamb meatballs were fantastic. Perfectly crispy on the outside and a nice mixture of lamb, ricotta and other ingredients inside. I would recommend this. I saw a few other appetizer items that I wanted to try but wanted to leave room for my main course. For entree I had the striped bass. My spouse had the Delmonico steak. The fish was cooked well, had a nice crispy skin and flaky inside. We shared the Brussel sprouts to accompany our entree and neither of us loved it. It was slightly too charred for me, tasting more burnt than I’d like. It could’ve done with a tad less chili sauce. It needed more of a drizzle and less of a soaking. Overall though, the food and drinks were good. The general manager was very kind and gave us a gift card to return for a drink, as it was my husband’s birthday. Little things like this matter to me: great service, considerate staff, good food, beautiful ambiance. It all makes the experience more worthwhile. I look forward to dining at Prime again.

As always everything was fantastic. We called the restaurant because we were going to be late our show ran overtime. We were told no problem our reservation is still good. Yes, the noise level last night was very high, but there was so many large families there that came from the same show, plus it’s a family restaurant noise is expected, and so nice seeing families together for a holiday dinner. My only complaint, and it’s me being old, we sat by a window and the cold air was coming through the windows and wall. Like I said I’m old and very sensitive to the cold, I just put my coat on, had a glass of wine and enjoyed my delicious meal.
