Best Authentic Restaurants in Carlsbad Springs

Went to this restaurant for a date. Upon arrival, the waitress was very kind and got us seated fairly quickly. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place was magnificent and gave a very romantic mood. I have to say, the lighting was very dim but in a good way that gave the perfect vibe for the date to set the mood. We were seated at a small table which included a real burning candle and a rose which smelled amazing. Although the tables are very close together and the noise level was fairly loud when we arrived, it was still a great mood and experience overall. The music which played in the background was R&B. As for the food, I had the Spaghetti Pomodoro and my date had the Spaghetti Meatballs. We were not disapointed with the quality of the food and the price. The food tastes fantastic and the prices are just right. Our waitress was also very attentive and consistently refilled our waters and took our orders for dinner and dessert at the right times. Overall, Cantina Gia is a fantastic restaurant for a romantic evening with that special someone. It does not disappoint.

All the people in my party were satisfied with their meal. One lady found her food to be too spicy. Her meal was replaced with something else and she was not charged for both meals. We also learned that we can ask for more or less spicy foods. This was very much appreciated.

Our evening at Cocotte Bistro was absolutely lovely! From the moment we walked in, the charming French ambiance and soft lighting made us feel so relaxed and at home. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavour, you could tell it was made with care. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive! We’ll definitely be back soon!

We (my husband, daughter and I) had a lovely dinner - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent! There were so many wonderful choices. We shared our choices of appetizers, which were all exceptional- the vegetable samosas were the best I have ever tasted! We all enjoyed our main courses - the ooty woodland mushroom curry, the pepper lamb and the lagoon's shrimp mango curry. Everything was cooked to perfection. The coconut lime whipped custard crumble was a lovely light dessert to follow this wonderful meal - and the cardamon chai was delicious too. We will be returning for sure! Thank you to the chef and to the staff for a wonderful evening!

Afternoon Tea at Zoe's was quite the event, and certainly lives up to the hype. The restaurant has done a stellar job with the renovations and the ambience was quite nice, especially right after the holidays. The staff, particularly Jeanette for our table, were attentive and quick to answer any needs we had. The food was well prepared and many options are available for selecting specific tea genres. Of course, the price is what it is, but to be expected of such a venue evidently! My party was very satisfied with the experience and looks forward to returning soon!
