Best Authentic Restaurants in Northern Liberties

Amazing food as always! Service was perfect. Outside seating was cozy. Best pasta outside of Italy bar none!

We enjoyed everything from the moment we waked in to the moment we left. Our anniversary was acknowledged by the hostess, our server and a manager. They also sent out a sweet little dessert. Timing was very fluid. I was very impressed with the acoustics- the restaurant was totally packed but you can not hear another individual conversation and can still make out the music. Hard to achieve without seeing visible panels or an abundance of heavy drapery and rugs which there is not. Food was perfect.

I always enjoy the Dandelion. The decor, the food and particularly the service are always wonderful.

We’ve been patronizing the restaurant since before COVID, both the restaurant and the grocery. Consistently, the food, service, and overall dining experience are excellent. On this particular occasion, there were three of celebrating a birthday. From start to finish, the service could not have been better — efficient, friendly, and helpful. All three of us had the special Branzino dish, and each had a different salad or appetizer. The dishes all exceeded our high expectations. We could not stay for dessert, but purchased a pint of the Desire gelato for consumption at home. Needless to say, the gelato was over-the-top.

The restaurant was crowded and loud and the server we had often disappeared for long periods of time. The food was excellent, however and when I added to my OpenTable reservation that I wanted a quiet table, they did at least put us in the back which helped some. My low ratings in some categories was because my daughter (who was celebrating her birthday) was brought a flan at the end of our meal with something akin to a firecracker in it. That was very nice, but, when I received my bill for the meal, I was shocked to see that I was charged for it! I didn’t ask for this and didn’t even want it because we had cake back at home. The $9 flan at the end left me with a sour taste after an otherwise good meal.
