Best Authentic Restaurants in Northborough

Old time restaurant. Hadn’t been here in a long time. It was a Wednesday night so not too busy. Big portions Good prices Good service Chicken Marsala was flavorful but one piece had the tough chewy thing going on. Overall it needs a little sprucing up but still was a nice night.

A little music would have been nice but I am sure it is difficult to accommodate everyone’s likings.

We dined in the bar area at a booth, having an early meal at 5pm. The service, food, and seating were all fantastic. However, by the end of our meal, the noise level was so loud, we couldn’t hear each other speak. We intentionally dined early in the evening to avoid this issue, but to no avail. If you want a quieter space, I’d certainly recommend the dining room.

We had a dinner reservation at the bar. We were promptly greeted by John the bartender. I had a passion fruit cosmo that was delicious. My boyfriend just had a bottled beer. He had a sirloin and baked potato that were cooked to perfection. I had steak tips and mashed potatoes. They were flavorful and filling. We told John this was our first visit so he was very helpful with the menu. We would definitely go back!

So sad this restaurant is closing, but glad my son and I were able to dine there last night. Everything was perfect. The ambience, the food…amazing all around. The fresh homemade pasta for my manicotti was the best I’ve ever had…velvety and light and delicious.
