Best Authentic Restaurants in Mesa

Everything was awesome! Second time there with same results.

I had booked a table for 4 for Christmas dinner at 6pm. We checked in about 15 minutes before and were told they were about half an hour behind (which was understandable as it was Christmas Day). This was our first time here and the overall ambiance was great, the decor was amazing and each wall had something to stop and look at. When it came to ordering food the portion sizes are large! We ordered a “small” salad, “small” order of baked ziti and a small pepperoni pizza. We still ended up with leftovers of the pasta. But the food was delicious and did not disappoint! We will definitely be making another trip out for dinner to try something different next time. Overall it was worth it, food was excellent and service was great.

First time for us. A very pleasant experience in what we would call a neighborhood eatery. We're right down the road. Service was excellent. Our server (Gloria) was on top of things and very good with customers. The calamari was crispy, tender and very tasty. She had the chicken picata and loved it. I had the wine braised ribs and thought it outstanding. So good I'd like to try it at home. The manager, who I later learned was the owner, was everywhere taking very good care of his customers and his business. A "go getter" young man who is definitely succeeding. Kudos to the entire operation. Two minor comments: 1) the lighting was a bit dim, and 2) it made it difficult for an elderly type like me to read the menu fine print. On a personal note, please put osso bucco on the daily menu and add Wild Turkey 101 to the bar selection. Nit picky I know. But...highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Took my sister to the White Rabbit while she was visiting. We had a 6 pm reservation. Really cool experience! We got the artichoke flatbread, charcuterie board, and elote dip. All were VERY good! I was surprised at how good the food was, considering this is technically just a place for drinks. Drink menu is very creative and interesting. We loved our drinks and our server was very good at recommending things. Overall very very nice!

Authentic vibe and food. Service was excellent. Loved the salsa - came in mild and super spicy.
