    A New Year's Day Lunch to Remember! We kicked off the new year with a fantastic lunch at Deccan Spice Restaurant in Edison on January 1st! The team has truly outdone themselves with their revamped menu and carefully crafted full-meal thali. Standout Dishes: 1. Salmon Bites: Crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. 2. Authentic Indian Curries: Rich, aromatic, and expertly prepared. 3. Viennese Desert Presentation: A stunning finale to our meal, both visually and taste-wise. Ambiance and Service: The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with exceptional service, made our dining experience truly unforgettable.     This was our first time at 1958 Cuban Cuisine and I can honestly say that we will go back. The atmosphere and people were warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. We started with avocado stuffed with oxtail, ropa vieja empanadas, and shrimp in garlic sauce. These were a great start to an awesome meal. For entrees, we had ropa vieja, vaca frita, and boliche mechado. We had congri, tostones, and mixed vegetables as our sides. All of the dishes were so flavorful and the meat was tender. For dessert, we shared flan, rice pudding, and churros stuffed with chocolate. From start to finish, the meal was an A+. We can’t wait to return.
