Best Authentic Restaurants in East Nashville

This is a fun tapas style place to go. Likely better with more than two people as you'll be able try more things. The menu is so fun. Waiter suggested 2-3 items per person. Three is definitely too many. We didn't have room for dessert. Overall, a fun place! We'd go back for sure.

Phenomenal. We wanted to try several thing, so we did a side of elote off the cob and a masa pancake as starters. Opted for the burrito and eggs Benedict for entrees. Everything was incredible! The pancake wasn’t too sweet, and the eggs Benedict really stood out. Housemade muffins and hollandaise ftw! Also had the Dirty Horchata—delicious and a great NA option—and a spicy mezcal bloody. I’ll never get a vodka bloody again. So good!

So glad that we finally tried this place. After a lot of "meh" meals in Nashville over the past 5 or so years (soooo many steak houses doing the same thing), it was refreshing to see a place getting it right. For us, this is exactly what dining should be: personable and fun with well executed food and good pricing. I wouldn't call it cheap, but you get what you pay for, which is all anyone should expect. They aren't trying to be gimmicky or too hip. They are just doing what they do well. This is in our rotation now, along with Lyra, Yolan, Carne Mare and Bella Napoli...all places that do what they do extremely well without trying to be everything to everyone.

Our experience was deeelightfullll! From our server Paige, to the fantastic food (the chicken confit and meatloaf) the killer drinks (Jane’s old fashioned) and the music! We loved every bit of this evening!❤️💚🌲 Don’t miss out!

What an amazing experience! This was our first time at the Authentique and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, genuine French cuisine. They had the best crepes I’ve had in years! The wine selection was great and the service was friendly. I highly recommend this place, they even had live jazz music! A tout a l’heure, Authentique!
