It’s always a treat to go to Fumo’s. The food is great, the service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is casual and cozy. You won’t go wrong at Fumo’s.

Wonerful. Always offering quality mountain lodge meals at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful every time. It is a warm and cozy room with a fire. What more could you want? Delicious bread bowl clam chowder and elk pot pies. Great appetizers. Nightly specials. Thrre is always someting gor vegetarians. A build your own salad opion is a great feature. The crinkle cut fries need to be removed from the menu. Don't let these fries dissuade you from going there. Just don't order them. Beware, they come with the fish and chips. The fish is good but the crinkle cut fries need upgrading!

I surprised my partner with an anniversary and birthday dinner with Smoke Door’s 10 course menu with their reserve pairing. Not only did the food blow our minds, but the service was absolutely outstanding. They made it truly unique for us, and made us feel so incredibly special; we forgot we were at a restaurant, at some point, because everything else faded away. The food was familiar, but just different or “enhanced” enough that you will be thankful they invited you a little out of your comfort zone. It’s expensive — but it should be. You get what you paid for. The knowledge that came with every dish and paired drink was incredible; this has become our new tradition of celebrating life events. We cannot wait to go back. If you’re thinking about it, just book the reservation. The only thing you’ll regret is not doing so sooner.

We were there on “Taco Tuesday “ - the shrimp tacos were delicious, as was my margarita! We sat at a window table and watched the full moon over the lake!

We have been going to Le Bistro on our anniversary for the 12 years we've lived in Tahoe. The food is always fresh, cooked to perfection with lovely touches and presentation. Service was excellent and the spacing between courses just right. The four course prix fixe menu is a good deal, although I am always a little too full afterwards. That didn't stop me from finishing the dessert plate, a sampling of four small delights, a chocolate truffle, creme brulee, lemon cookie and a chocolate raspberry cake. My wife's main course was the filet mignon and I had the scallops. They were both excellent.
