Best Authentic Restaurants in Anchorage

First time diner. The menu offers plenty of options. We started with the dry rubbed wings with the French Quarter sauce and bleu cheese dressing on the side. They were so good, we were tempted to order more. We opted for the she crab soup. It wasn’t too heavy and had generous portions of crab in every bite. At that point, we weren’t terribly hungry, so we tried the Lavash with blackened shrimp. The flavors melded together beautifully, immediately making it and the wings must-order items when we return. We finished with the bread pudding. Sweet and savory flavors were the perfect finish to our visit. Needless to say, we will return to try some of the other menu items. I’ve already made plans to dine again with a group of friends. Great overall experience.

We had a cocktail and then decided to eat in the bar area. The bartenders were friendly and informative. Our server/bartender, was Sapporo (sp?). She was great, and there when we needed her. We ordered the tuna won tons and lobster bisque to start. Both were delicious! I had the crab stuffed halibut and my wife had the torchio pasta. Both were tasty, and large portions. We received a nice size pour for the wines we ordered. The room had a nice buzz on a cold evening. Will definitely be back.

We always love eating here. The staff feel like family and the food is extraordinary!

Excellent. Great food great environment. Only complaint is the tables are a little small if you are only 2 people. They did a good job keeping the table open as we ate.

Very good food/price value, sushi is good and fried rice is great
