The intimate dining rooms within The Fearrington House Restaurant welcome guests with exceptional service and a seasonally changing menu. Executive Chef Paul Gagne commitment to exceptional farm-to-fork cuisine is woven throughout the dining experience.

From partnerships with local farms, including Harland's Creek Farm in Pittsboro and Lil Farm in Timberlake, to herbs harvested from gardens on the property, to dishes that celebrate North Carolina’s seasons, The Fearrington House’s mission to provide Relais & Chateaux level cuisine and service to guests has remained constant since opening in 1980.

Our menu is complemented by a beverage program featuring an extensive wine list, a full cocktail bar, and beers celebrating North Carolina breweries.

Any Allergies and Food Preferences are to be provided in advance. If not provided, not all requests can be accommodated.

Jackets are requested but not required. We ask that gentlemen remove hats for dinner service.

Food is good, service is great, but beyond over priced. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you’re ready to spend $150 per person without alcohol.

This place is run and feels like an exquisite symphony. Everything was perfection. We had a few wines that I will remember for a very long time. So many personal touches too in celebration of my birthday. Personalized menus signed by the chef and a goodie bag of beautiful chocolates and a couple jellies. Really an incredible experience that will stay with me for a very long time.

Outstanding service and meal was fabulous. Ambiance was top notch. Wine selection was extensive and sommelier was very knowledgeable. Excellent experience.

Not the Fearrington House meal we expected based on many previous meals there. The 'foodies' may like the extreme experimental and presentation over taste, but this is no where close to the excellence of past menus and no resemblance to the Fearrington House Cookbook. When did Japanese dishes become the local menu of Chatham County? And why multiple courses as large as entrees before the main course? By the time were served the main course, we were satiated by the overly rich early courses to the point of not wanting the entree. We were both ill afterwards though we didn't finish many of the dishes. Prices were very high - glass of mediocre champagne $25. We will not be back for another 'tasting' menu . Chef should try local Nana's or BlueBird to learn what is valued as great local cuisine with savoire fare.

Great place for a very special night out. The selected menus are well chosen and as you would expect, beautifully presented and amazing flavors. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Fabulous wine list. If you are selling a gourmet experience this is the place!

The entire experience was incredible. Thank you for making my in-laws sixty third wedding anniversary a very special occasion. Every person in the building made us feel welcome and contributed to the evening being a truly special. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
