We ordered several Items. Cesar salad was fantastic but other than that the food was mediocre for the price you pay

Hostess needed some additional training (didn't complete the OpenTable confirmation, took a while to seat us) and some of the tuna sushami was suspect. Other than that, service was solid and food was good.

The wait staff and ambiance were excellent ! Our appetizers were delicious and the Caesar Salads were great. All of our entrees super . The duck, however, was a bit overcooked. We enjoyed going upstairs for the delicious dessert. The pressed coffee was very watery

It has been awhile since we dined at Euphemia Haye, one of our favorite restaurants close to home. Lately I have been reading some pretty scathing reviews saying how the food and service have gone downhill since the new owners took over. I am here to say that EVERYTHING was, as always, absolutely first rate. I had the veal special (veal natasha) and it was perfection. Tender veal and such a flavorful sauce. Their creamed spinach has not wavered in the 25 years we have been dining here. My wife's lamb shank was tender, juicy and enormous. The staff graciously let her sub mashed cauliflower (another of our long time favorites) for the mashed du jour. Perfect cocktails, attentive and friendly service from a long time employee. We did not have room for dessert, but plenty of diners were heading up to the Haye Loft, so they must be doing something right.

Not what we have come to expect of Euphemia Haye. Service was slow - according to the server that eventually helped us there was "some confusion as to which server was supposed to be working our table". After the initial placement of our orders the pace picked up but was still not what we would call attentive. Caesar salad was as good as ever, as was the Taj Mahal shrimp curry. My duck though was very disappointing. So dry I could not easily tell what was bone and what was meat. As the server checked on us 30 seconds after our main course arrived but not at all after that, I complained to the person who took my plate away but he did not pass word on. When the server came to ask about dessert and I mentioned the duck he said "well you should have told me" to which I replied "I would have, had I had the opportunity but I did not see you again until now". The brussel sprouts side dish was overly strong in flavour, and overpowered everything else. A very disappointing visit for our final treat on the island.

First time at the restaurant. Hostess and server was great. They were short staffed in the kitchen and they were very apologetic. There were three of us. The appetizers were small for the price. Two fried green tomatoes for three was disappointing. The food was good but not remarkable. Fine experience but wouldn’t go back. There were patrons in shorts and gym shoes while the dress code was business casual. Not a fan of gym shoes in an upscale restaurant. Lastly, the raccoons in the parking lot next to the car and garbage around the dumpster was not a pleasant site.

Our dining experience was great. Two of us had the pistachio crusted snapper. The topping was a bit overcooked. Possibly in the broiler a little too long. Still tasted good. Our waiter was excellent! The upstairs experience was not as great. The dessert selection was amazing! Chocolate cake and peanut butter pie were phenomenal. The banana crème pie was not good. Hardly any bananas and odd consistency with little nana flavor. The waitress upstairs had to be one of the rudest I’ve experienced in I don’t remember the last time. Not sure if she had too many people to take care of or what. Very short with responses, hard to get her attention, literally tossed the check on the table. I don’t think she wanted to be there! First time there after many many high recommendations. It wasn’t the best experience but hoping it was a fluke!

I have been having dinner at Euphemia Haye since 1976, always a wonderful experience. Brian our server was very accommodating. So great to see Billy Riley, longtime employee at the restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Food overall is good but the appetizer size portions are extremely small. The bread served before the meal is excellent. The Caesar salad could use more flavor.

Menu is tiresome. Very rich with sauces on most of the food in the menu. It needs a reboot.
