   Sevice was 5 star…Alex rocked and was knowledgeable about the menu. Their signature lamb fondue was fabulous…a must try. All the food was prepared beautifully and served hot.

   We took our family to dinner last night, hoping to share a wonderful experience with them. It was terrible. Whoever “split” our steak, cut it horizontally, leaving each of us with an overcooked top and a bottom. Who does that? We didn’t want to complain in front of our guests but because of the way the steak was cut- it was overcooked and tough. The knife had a difficult time cutting through it. Service was incredibly slow and the creamed spinach was a a drippy milky mess. Our dinner was $815.00 and we expected more.

   I wish this was a better experience but it was overall terrible. The ambiance and food are good but the service was absolutely terrible. You’d think at the Ritz Carlton you would get 5 star service but we waited over an hour for our food, our server did not check on us between serving appetizers and waiting over an hour for our food. They avoided coming near our table for us to wave them over. But then quickly came to our table after the food runner served our food to us… the manager offered us a free dessert. Wasn’t worth our time. Very disappointed.

   Steaks were great, and I especially loved the creamy horseradish sauce. The sides could be better. We ordered the artichoke, which was a bit tough and over salted, and we ordered the brussel sprouts, which did not live up to the expectation.

   Overall Elway’s was good, but isn’t worth the bang for the buck… For the price we expected great. The one ‘great’ from dinner was the crab cake. It was beautifully presented, big enough for 4 to share, and delicious with big lumps of crab. The downside is that we were freezing! 🥶 They honestly need to fix something. We had a plug in heater at our table that we gave to the table next to us when we left. They were freezing as well.

    This was our first trip here. I had read the mixed reviews but wanted to try Elways’s for myself and form my own opinion. The restaurant was very busy and Steven was our server. He was super friendly and we asked his opinion on a couple of items and he gladly answered our questions. Food was nothing short of amazing. We started with grilled artichoke and salads for appetizers. Both were fantastic. My wife had an 8oz filet(medium) and I had the 10oz filet(medium)and mashed potatoes. Steaks were cooked perfectly, very tender and tasty. Wine was great. Overall one of the best places we have eaten and again Steven was fantastic. We will definitely return soon.
