Southern hospitality, fine coastal cuisine, and well-chosen wines in a comfortable, elegant 1900 mansion have made Elizabeth on 37th a favorite destination in Savannah since 1981. Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. The wine program and service staff are led by owners Greg and Gary Butch. Elizabeth on 37th is located in the Victorian District. The mansion, built for a cotton broker, is decorated with historic Savannah colors and patterns, fresh flowers, original paintings and ceramics, and is entered through fragrant herb gardens. *We are able to seat parties larger than 8, please contact the restaurant for availability via phone or email. Thank you.*

Where should I begin? From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the outstanding food it does not disappoint. With the meal consisting of 7 courses it meets all expectations. I can really say that this had to be one of the best restaurants I have ever dined at. Overall Elizabeth on 37th was amazing and will definitely be back.

My husband and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this was known to the restaurant. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice, but a bit loud. Unfortunately, our server talked so much that it intruded on our meal. He regaled us with stories about his and the restaurant’s accolades, and we couldn’t politely tell him that we didn’t really care, because it was hard to get a word in edgewise. We just wanted to quietly enjoy our dinner together, so this was a negative for us.

Amazing experience and excellent service. The food was just outstanding and portioned so that you could enjoy each course and not be overwhelmed. Definitely try the wine pairing!

A spectacular evening at a mystical place. Mickey the Somm is brilliant and has forgotten more than most Somms have ever learned--and I am a Sommelier. Gary, one of the owners is a gem; Mila our server was engaging and attentive without being overbearing. The menu was attentive, thoughtful, well-prepared and delicious. Sourced locally, the seafood and shellfish are flawless. The sauces are nuanced and balanced; enhancing rather than overpowering the entree. The wine list is well chosen, broadly selected, and refined. Anyone can find anything he or she desires of course here but the list encourages engagement, conversation, and a willingness to expand from the usual. I have lived all over the world; Elizabeth's is one of the finest restaurants I've ever been in.

Elizabeth's used to be THE place to have an exceptional meal based on local-farm-to- market and great cooking skills. In the last two years they have gone from a great a la carte menu to $115/person tasting menu that is overall mediocre with a few high spots. The ambience is still there and the service was great. Tasting menu is way too much food as well. I understand ownership is tired of competing with the many similar options out there. Sad.

We went for my sister’s birthday and from the moment we walked in the staff made us feel like we were the most important people there. They are welcoming and so knowledgeable. Everything was perfect and perfectly delicious. As always we had the Savannah Mary, the best Bloody Mary in town! And every course was delicious.
