We both ordered tacos … different Both tasted excellent. We both thought the area a bit on the cold side And after the waitress brought us the menu for the dessert it seemed liked it took longer than expected so we declined.

Everything was awesome except it was freezing cold. The side door to outside was constantly being opened and it was like a wind tunnel where we were sitting. I was absolutely frozen by the time we left and wasn’t warm enough to walk around the distillery.

Finally had my first visit at El Catrin. The atmosphere and vibe was great. Our guacamole appetizer was delicious, but the chicken in the quesadilla was dry and was overpowered by the extra cheese. Baja Tacos were ok, I would suggest they change the oil that they deep fry the fish as it didn't have a 'fresh' taste. Odd that you cannot mix and match your taco selection. Margarita was delicious, but was served in a water glass that was filled with big ice cubes. Overall, it was ok, but not worth the money I paid.

Fantastic holiday lunch with my family. The service was excellent, as was the food (especially the guacamole made fresh at the table) and the special flight of margaritas. We ate indoors this year due to the weather (it was a little drafty where we sat as we were close to a door). Ambiance was good; noise level very acceptable given how full the restaurant was. Overall a really lovely lunch.

Food took 42 minutes to arrive. While it was not worth the 42 minutes wait it was adequate. Our server was nice although he was way too busy as he was overstretched with serving other guests. The ambience and the mural in the sitting area was spectacular.

Our waitress was so sweet, I wish I remembered her name. She was so accommodating to my son. The octopus dish was to die for. Thank you for everything! Margarita flight was killer too!

Susan, thank you for visiting our restaurant and for providing us with your review. We are saddened that your overall experience did not meet your expectations and that our food did not impress you the second time around. We take great pride in delivering outstanding customer service and our Chef and his team work very hard to provide our guests with flavourful and authentic Mexican-inspired dishes, while using the freshest ingredients. Please know that we would have been happy to replace anything that wasn't to your liking. We do hope you will give us another chance to make your next visit more memorable. Best regards, Stuart K.
