   The building is really neat and gives the restaurant a very quaint atmosphere. They keep the lighting a bit low so helpful to bring your phone for reading menu. While the service staff was exceptionally polite and respectful there were a few gaffs that had me put it at a 3. — We had bread twice but didn’t get the butter till half-way through entrees. And then on the menu they have appetizers, first plate, and then entrees. And my husband ordered a first plate but I didn’t. We expected first plates to come before entrees but instead they all came together which left it very awkward as even w me eating very slowly. I was still nearly finished w my entree before my husband finished the first plate- a blue cheese bread pudding that he said tasted like it had been waiting to be served for a bit. For the food- I would put it higher as it was getting close to being exceptional with another few gaffs. To start off - this menu is very classically French- and being thus sauces are king. And the sauces here were all phenomenal- though my husband didn’t like the sauces a l’orange that came w his duck. The rest were fantastic!!! The proteins , on the other hand were undercooked. Something that was not as evident to see under the dim lighting. It is a pricey spot to go and we were a bit disappointed in the undercooked food for what we paid $160 - apps, one first plate,2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine. Almost there but needs a bit of tweaking on service a doneness of proteins.

   My entree was phenomenal, Grouper wrapped in potato. The cocktail menu is really nice, so is the dessert choices. Only negative was the lobster bisque was very salty. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is very attentive, the menu is awesome and the value is very good

   Dining at Edwins is always a delight! My shared dinner with two dear friends was no exception. It began with seating. My friend commented on how cold the night air was and if we could sit where it would be cozy. The host scanned the room of diners and decided, with a brief consultation, to seat us in the private dining area. We had the curtained room to ourselves, but service to our remote table could not have been more accommodating! In search of a wine, the chef, John, pulled himself from a busy kitchen to offer a single bottle remaining from an event he had hosted earlier this season. It was a superb Saint-Estèphe. So began a memorable meal that started with foie gras, perfectly seared, tender, and served with roasted apples and Calvados sauce. Sublime. The salad was a croquet of goat cheese with crisp fresh greens, and our three dinners were grilled rabbit, grouper, and seafood sausage in lemon butter wine sauce. Everyone was pleased with their choice. The food, wine, and conversation flowed with unobtrusive and impeccable service and a warm visit from the restaurant impresario himself, Brandon Crostowski. We were too full to try the desserts and were honoring our New Year's resolutions. We hope to return soon and maybe start with dessert?

   EDWINS is always fantastic. Great food, excellent service, pleasant atmosphere. Our group had seafood sausage, foie gras, butternut squash salad, and frog legs for starters. We had the ribeye steak, le Burger, mushroom ravioli, and half duck a la orange for our main courses. We shared an excellent bottle of Chinon and of Muolin-a-Vent with our meals. Everything was excellent!

   A nice birthday dinner despite how busy it was. I would definitely give it another chance but would go a non holiday next time.

    Fabulous New Year's Eve dinner. Delicious pear and goat cheese salad followed by an entree of scallops with squash in a corn sauce. Beignets to remember good times in New Orleans completed the meal. My husband had the grouper wrapped in crispy potatoes with green beans followed by Chocolate Pots de Crème for dessert. Servers are always attentive, and the food is aways outstanding.
