   We had Christmas Eve dinner here in the lounge area. There was a live band which was nice. The food was delicious as expected. We order the 22oz prime rib to share and it was fattier than expected. We got creamy mash and hot honey Brussel sprouts for sides and an order of French fries that were sent back because they were under cooked. Other than that it was a beautiful evening.

   This time we noticed that the quality of the food had dropped and the price had increased exorbitantly. It took a long time to get our table and also to bring the food. When the food finally arrived, the brussel sprouts were burnt and the meat point was cooked wrong. What saved the night was the waitress' service, who was very good.

   Great food and service. Loved the ambiance and live music. It was really loud, which made it difficult to talk at the table. I will be back

   While the food and service was a 5 overall, I’d rate my reservation experience a 2. I reserved a table for 4 in the V lounge, the bar area of the restaurant both online and through phone confirmation. Upon arrival my reservation was mysteriously changed to the main dining area with no prior notification. So unfortunately, my out of town guests didn’t get to experience and enjoy the seating area where the live jazz band played. Upon arrival the host began to walk us away from the “V lounge” area towards the main dining area and I immediately informed her that our reservation was not for the V lounge bar area instead. Obviously she didn’t believe me and continued to walk me and my party pass the main dining room, which still had open dining spaces available, past the restrooms and then to the very back of the restaurant, which I considered to be very insulting at this point and time. I refused to sit with my guest in that section of the restaurant and requested a better table. Luckily a red coat hostess came along, who probably noticed my frustration and asked to seat us in the main dining area as well. I informed her as well that my reservation was not for the main dining area but instead the V longe. I think at this point she sensed my frustration and at least seated us in the main dining area closest to but still not in the V lounge bar area and then explained that their reservation system did not show my party with a reservation in the bar area if the restaurant, so my party remained seated their for the remainder of the evening. Eventually that evening I was able to pull up my Open Table reservation and showed them proof that I reserved the bar area for 4. The red coat hostess was very apologetic and compensated us with a free round of drinks. I write this comment to say that sometimes a person’s perception of a situation becomes their reality, so please do a better job of listening to your customers when they clearly try to provide you with the truth.

   We love this restaurant. Everything was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. I always wish they would bring up the lighting a bit. I normally expect the holidays to be noisy there, but not to have to use my glasses and phone flashlight to be able to read the menu.

    This was our first visit to Eddie V's. We were expecting a supper club like atmosphere and that's what we got. The service overall was excellent. Kara was our server and she really did a great job of taking care of us. The food was good, however it took quite a long time from the time we placed our order to the time we received our meal. Nearly 1 hour. One of our steaks was well done when ordered medium rare after that long wait. The sea bass was the best I've ever had. Overall, the stakes were of good quality, however they were under seasoned significantly. We did not have any appetizers nor desserts so cannot comment on those. The blue cheese wedge salad was good not great. The drinks recommended were delicious. Overall, I would give this a good rating. However, when overlaid with the prices, I consider it A fair value. Won't give up on it and likely will give it another shot in the future. However, do you feel that there are better steak and seafood houses in Central Florida.
