   We visited Earl's on 12/23/24 with a party of 7 at 6pm. The restaurant was not full but staff were very busy. It took quite a while for our server to arrive and greet us. It then took quite a while to be brought water. Those of us who ordered sodas or mixed drinks received those from the bar before the water arrived! Each step in the ordering process took far longer than it should have. When we were finally asked for our dinner order, we were told that the kitchen had run out of a dish that several in our party wanted to order. Those individuals quickly pivoted and we put our orders in. It took a very long time for our food to come out. Once it was delivered, our server did not make it back to our table to check on us until many of us had completely finished our food. Despite the very slow kitchen and service, we decided to order desserts. Out of the 4 desserts on the menu, only two were available--the kitchen had run out of the other two! Again, people pivoted and selected other options than what they had originally chosen. Again, it took a while to receive our orders. Once the desserts arrived, most of us agreed that they had not been worth the wait. Bottom line is that they were understaffed and the kitchen was clearly under-prepared for the number of guests they had in the restaurant that evening.

   Our first visit. It was outstanding in every way. All three of us had the steak and eggs meal. Then, the best crème brûlée I ever had. Will be back!

   Our food was not very good, across the board. Even the eggs were poorly cooked. Music is super loud, even at 11am. Our poor server was trying his best, but there were only a few waiters, which didn’t make sense. I’ve eaten at the Earl’s downtown many times and loved it. I was extremely disappointed in this Earl’s.

   The food was very good and the restaurant was quite pleasant. Our server, Charlotte, was attentive and we received our food quickly.

   We've been going to earls for the past 18 years. And there were times that we questioned the changes in menu and food items. We always LOVE the French fries ,- perfectly done and not greasy. Second week in crow that they were out of pizza. Overall experience was good - the service was great and ambiance cozy. .definitely recommend for experience.
