   Our food was not warm at all when served. It was disappointing but was corrected pretty quickly. We would expect more for the price, but overall a pretty good experience.

   Our first experience with Double Nickel and it did not disappoint! 5 Star from the moment we walked in. Food was great, wait staff was great, ambiance was excellent, had a great anniversary date!

   i had been to double nickel before one other time and had a good time and decided to choose this establishment for my anniversary we had a reservation but had to wait a little for our table, the tables are a bit too close together for my liking the man sitting behind us had a bit too much too drink he was being obnoxious the whole time after they he other tables asked if we heard that so that wasn’t very romantic considering i was on an anniversary dinner and our server was not good at all not attentive at all i had to wave him down to get another refill and ask a question we were at the restaurant so long because it would take him forever to come to our table and check on us the food was delicious yes but overall i will not be back if i am paying $160 for two entrees and a dessert only i’d like my service to be a little better.

   Dining at the Double Nickel Steakhouse is always a special treat! Attention to detail in its service and menu is what makes this establishment extraordinary. We had a lovely evening and plan to return for our next special occasion.

   Me and Wife want to Thank Lisa West and her Double Nickel Staff Especially Arole and Oscar. They both made our 25 wedding anniversary unforgettable. These two gentlemen are truly a asset to the Double Nickel Family and To Lisa West please know your group is outstanding and we will definitely make your establishment our traditional anniversary spot and we have always had family gatherings and parties and that will continue.    We had a great waiter, Karla, who made the experience worthwhile, but after hearing much about this steakhouse, the food was, at best, mediocre. The wedge salad was delicious, way enough dressing, bacon, eggs, more than we expected. But the chicken breast was dry, overcooked, obviously frozen before they served it. The cheese sticks were flavorless. We loved the baked potato and the creamed corn. Even the free dessert for my b'day, this chocolate cake, was way too sweet and gummy. But Karla and the sides made the evening an ok one. Still, what a disappointment.

   Loved the atmosphere, the waiters, I also like how all of our food came out in stages and not all at once so we didn’t feel rushed to eat, definitely a must try.

    This is our favorite restaurant to visit and we usually go a couple times a month. Something is different. The quality of the food has gone down by a lot over the last couple months. We had a reservation for last night and the food was the worst it has ever been. I got the crusted beef tip tenderloins and it was completely burnt up and half of it was heavily charred. The mashed potatoes were cold and chunky and the house salad was over powered by all the ranch that was on it. I love the ranch but it was way too much. My husband said other than his mashed potatoes his was good. He had a 12 ounce filet. Our server was new and she did a great job. She apologized and offered to comp my meal. We turned that offer down. We don't want a free meal, we want the same quality food as we normally get. We tipped the server $100, it wasn't her fault and we'll be back but it will be the last time if the food is as horrible as it has been the last 4 times. I don't typically post bad reviews, I try to only talk about the positive because I support small business but this was ridiculous and very disappointing.
