                    We thought the restaurant, and the food, were particularly lovely. The menu is so interesting it's hard to decide what to eat. I will say that the servers are a little shy to bring the check. We were done 20 minutes before we got the bill. So go ahead and be a little aggressive in asking for it when they come to collect dishes.

                    Gorgeous room, fantastic food, exceptional service, wonderful setting and view, overall amazing! Celebrated birthday at Diwan; everything was perfect. Birthday candle arrived as requested with a Mango Lassi - delicious surprise!

                    We love this place. Beautiful space, friendly staff, good flavours. But we were disappointed this last time. We were with a couple with an impaired older gentleman and his wife asked if they could share either the chicken or the lamb, and have the kitchen debone the meat and split the plates in the kitchen. This was refused as too complicated. They got the lamb and another dish and the wife deboned the meat herself and shared with her husband. Their meal was fine. My husband's shrimp kebab was delicious. I got the chicken kabsa and really should have sent it back, but did not want to have a "negative" experience with the group. The chicken was completely dried out and had obviously been sitting around and possibly reheated numerous times. I couldn't cut if off the bone it was so tough and dry, but did pick it up and gnaw off some meat. The rice was dried out, as well. Very disappointing. We expect better from this usually very wonderful place.
