Located on 'The Hill' in Grosse Pointe Farms, the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe presents live jazz and comfort dinning in an intimate, Ole English pub atmosphere.

The venue offers a great all-day menu Tuesday through Thursday, and great live music and pre-fixe menu combination on Friday and Saturday. Chef Andre Neimanis serves up bistro favorites, world cuisine influences, comfort food with a twist and exciting daily specials. The wine list offers about 60 selections, 20 by the glass.

We were greeted by the waitress with a smile. The jazz ensemble was energetic and fun as well as creative in their delivery. However, the food was less than appetizing, especially for the price, considering the portions were small.

Service was excellent. The food was not. My salmon was very very overdone. The music was lovely but was way too loud. Ambience otherwise was cozy, clean and charming. Parking was convenient.

Our first time eating dinner there and catching a show. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. The music made for a more special night out and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Music was also excellent. Definitely would go back. The Duck Fat fries was awesome!

It’s always a great experience to dine at the Dog! We went for lunch and it was full of patrons. Vibrant atmosphere and delicious choices on the menu.
