Wonderful menu , from appetizers to main courses to desserts , you can't beat anything on it.. we have always enjoyed eating here. Service is exceptional , not intrusive but very attentive. this restaurant is a Gem in San Anselmo .

Our goal at Insalata's has always been to bring luscious Mediterranean food, gracious service and a warm atmosphere to our diners. For over 28 years we have shared this experience of intimate dining and joyful celebrations in a variety of ways. Had a celebration holiday lunch. The meal started out fine, but we got there when they opened. As the restaurant began to fill our server got pretty slammed and they clearly were understaffed. No water refills or any service except providing the food. The food was delicious though.

The dinner was lovely and the servers were very attentive. Wine list is perfect, mostly Spanish and French options with some American picks incorporated. Dishes my party had were the 3 option charcuterie, french onion soup, and moules marinières. Would definitely go back to try their brunch menu as well! Thank you for a great night!
