Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.

Our menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though working at Michelin-starred restaurants across the country.

From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

This was the best yet. The Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian tradition that my family always did on Christmas Eve. I still continue that tradition today at my home with Chioppino and other fish dishes. Don and Adam's take on it was supurb. Every dish was as delicious as the last. Bravissimo Don and Adam.

The drinks, desserts, food, ambiance, and service were absolutely amazing. This was my third time in Libre, and every time it’s been just this great. I will be back!

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. A great atmosphere, delicious food and great service. David and Cully are the best and we will continue to make this a regular stop when we are in Sunriver.

Shalom Y'all is an exploration and celebration of the Levant. We combines flavors and dishes from the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East with the produce and proteins of the Pacific Northwest to produce a phenomenal menu. Some standout items include the grilled lamb chops in Greek vinaigrette, the Baharat spiced chicken kebab served over mejadara, and our silky hummus served with fresh baked pita.

Shalom Y'all is located in the heart of Eastside Portland, Oregon and boasts a charming, industrial atmosphere featuring exposed cement walls flanked by warm wooden accents. As always, the food was delicious, drinks were tasty, and service was friendly. Only downside is the noise level. We usually sit in the bar area to take the edge off the sound.

As always, fabulous food. Terra remains my favorite restaurant in Central Oregon. I have never tried their steak but their salmon is delicious - but my favorites are the vegetable side dishes. I usually just have a couple of them.
