Im KOMU geht es einerseits um kulinarisch perfekt abgestimmte Geschmackserlebnisse – andererseits aber auch um die Rückbesinnung zum Kern des Essens als ein verbindendes Erlebnis. „Fine Dining“ bedeutet im KOMU: Kulinarik auf höchstem Niveau in einem familiären, ausgelassenen und modernen Ambiente.

Wichtige Information vor der Reservierung: Auf Unverträglichkeiten oder den Wunsch nach einem vegetarischen Menü gehen wir auf frühzeitige Anfrage (am besten direkt bei der Reservierung) gerne ein. A wonderful evening with good service and more interaction as usual as we decided to book the chefs table. It was interesting to see how the kitchen is prepared and everyone working in harmony together. The food was outstanding, beginning with several small tasting snacks, followed by 8 well balanced courses. All of them with great different textures and flavors. Some surprising combinations of ingredients and the wine pairing matching the dishes perfectly. Overall well worth to visit.

Service was too pushy, every 2 min interruption to ask us something (if food is fine, if need water..), it was so annoying. At the end, when the tip was apparently not as expected, the waitress was annoyed and openly disturbed. If I would be coming here again, it would be only because of the very good food

Very solid and high quality Vietnam/Panasian place with vibrant atthmosphere and good Munichoiis vibe. Excellent crispy soft shell crab and Shrimp Curry. Spare ribs could have been a bit more on the toasty crunchy side. Good winelist

Max and Moritz, two Munich natives who were born on the same day 26 years ago at the Klinikum Großhadern, opened up an exclusive wine bar / wine boutique called Max & Moritz. At Max & Moritz, you can enjoy delightful drops and special rarities from the best wine regions of Germany and South Africa – here, every wine lover feels more than comfortable! Max & Moritz is located right in the heart of Munich, on the historic Viktualienmarkt - The perfect place to dive into the hustle and bustle with a glass or bottle of wine.

Please note that we unfortunately do not offer any food in our wine bar. However, you can order dishes from our neighbouring restaurants Poseidon and Zum Alten Markt and enjoy them directly with us. During the week, from Monday to Thursday, we also have our dish of the week together with one of our partner restaurants between 12:00 and 14:00. When you order this dish along with a matching glass of wine, you will receive the second glass of wine for on the house.

This restaurant was wonderful! We ordered the Cacio e’ Pepe and it was prepared at the table in this huge round of Parmesan cheese! So showy! The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was how long it took to be waited on at the bar before dinner. We were going to have a glass of wine there, but ended up getting in the dining room.

My wife and I went here for dinner and we were surprised beyond all means. Great atmosphere and staff - My wife had rack of lamb. She has had rack of lamb all over the world and by far, it was the best she has ever had. I had the pasta with fish And it was spectacular. Fully recommend this place to anyone. Well worth the cab ride - Top 10 place I’ve ever been to. Kudos to the chef.
