We currently take bookings for tables for the next 60 days.

We do not take bookings for larger than 6 people. The largest party on regular seating is 5 people.

Please note all tables of 6 or more will be required to eat off our Chefs Sharing Menu.

Mediterranean small plates, fresh pasta and quality cuts of meat where sharing is encouraged. The menu is concise and constantly changing.

All steaks served have been aged for a minimum of 28 days, this could very well be a deciding factor for steaks lovers.

I recently visited this amazing Italian restaurant in Dublin, and I have to say, it’s my favorite so far! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive.I’ll definitely be coming back.

Bastible is located just a short stroll from the landmark St Patricks Cathedral in the vibrant postcode of Dublin 8.
The restaurant overlooks the junction of Clanbrassil Street and South Circular Road in what was once the old Jewish quarter of Portobello.

Chef Killian Walsh leads the kitchen team and creates seasonal tasting menus using his varied and considerable industry experience. Bastible was awarded a coveted Michelin Star in 2022 and proudly retains it today.

Bastible's atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive. There is no required dress code and we pride ourselves on friendly and knowledgable service.

Had a great night with a friend. Great cocktails and the wine selections for the pairing were fab. Service was friendly and attentive with interesting descriptions of each course. Expensive, yes, but definitely worth it for a special night out!
