Very good food, but a bit larger portion would have been nice. Great service from a very pleasant and efficient waitress. Not rushed. Nice atmosphere.

Had dinner at Sushi Den 12/29/24 for 4 of us. The staff were great about moving us to a different table away from the bar (because of the noise). Our server, Gary, was above great. Besides his wonderful care (including helping us through the multiple, and somewhat confusing, menus), his knowledge was phenomenal (especially important since one of our party has a gluten allergy). I’ve been to many, many restaurants in America and elsewhere, and Gary stands out as one of the best servers ever. Made our dinner a very memorable event for all 4 of us.

Housed in a former mortuary, the decor layers macabre remnants with posh details in a window-flanked space overlooking the charming Lower Highland neighborhood. The drink menu features sips and seasonings as savory as the dishes with which they're paired. First brunch at Linger. Enjoyed Dinner several times over past 3 years. Food is always outstanding. Unable to get consistent table service here. Friendly staff, so maybe training or turnover? We’ll be back.

We sat at the counter and really enjoyed chatting with the chef throughout our meal. It felt like we were hanging out at his house, eating at the kitchen island while he cooked. The chef recommended the camote asado, callo de hacha al horno, enmoladas de pollo, and the taco de suadero. Our favorite bites were the enmoladas de pollo and the taco de suadero. The tortillas and sauces are so good! We also had the birria de borrego which was really good but not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we enjoyed.

The initial check in and waiting leaves something to be desired. Poor communication and set up. However, the overall experience with the wait staff, servers and food provided was wonderful! Cheers to the team overall for providing an enjoyable Christmas experience.
