The sports tv sets DEFINITELY lower the experience in Sophia’s l. Highly recommend the tvs be put into a smaller, less conspicuous area for those who, heaven forbid, absolutely cannot enjoy an evening without staring at a tv screen. Sophia’s can elevate itself away from the lowered quality of Sports Bar by putting the tv reception in a small discrete area.

Experience was great and service was top notch. Many of the dishes on the east side lacked flair or flavor and were not hot. My favorite dish was the Hamachi on the east side. The DJ started around 7:ish and for such a small place the music was entirely too loud. Beating in your chest loud.

Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Gin & Tonic cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light that reflects off the white subway tile, wood accents and butcher block tables. We found the Fug Tree on Open table and a travel blog recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for! We had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday trip from Los Angeles -- and met others celebrating their anniversaries. We shared 2 apps, a salad, 1 main, and ordered 3 drinks (2 different cocktails and a glass of wine) — and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert which we were looking forward to — but they still brought some homemade chocolates on a plate inscribed Happy Birthday with a candle, which was lovely! The wait staff were very personable and took great care of us including splitting shared dishes without being asked. The cocktails were unique and yummy. The food was a fantastic mix of flavors and cooked to perfection. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Compared to LA prices it was at least 50% less expensive than a similar experience — but we did tip a lot more than we usually would since service was fantastic and min wage in NC is about 1/4 of that in CA.

A five-star rating is not nearly enough for our recent McNinch experience. We have dined at McNinch house previously and had the best culinary experience of our life. This time was even better. The food was exceptional, just as is it was during our first visit. What separates McNinch House from the other top rated dining venues in Charlotte is the service and atmosphere. The service level at McNinch House is far beyond anything we have ever encountered and was equally exceptional during both our visits. No detail is spared and, combined with the Christmas decor that filled the house, the experience was second to none. On top of it all, the owners were very present with their guests and interacted with all the tables. Their story, along with the unique history of the property, truly made this experience very special. Highly recommend for an intimate dinner and equally perfect for business dinners.

Had reservations for my Fiancé Birthday and requested a booth. OMG let me tell you We loved everything about our experience here! From our server Joshua to the Food and the ambience was nothing but Surperb! Everything that Joshua recommended from drinks to appetizer then entrée was Excellent... Definitely will be dining here again 😊
