Styled after the great NY steakhouses of the 1930s & '40s, Jeff Ruby's promises to be as pleasing visually as it is to the palate. French art-deco design, plush mohair upholstery, hand-selected antique furniture, and cinematic crystal chandeliers anchored by a 1950s-era antique are featured in the Starz series Magic City and the 32-foot wall of wine.

We were greeted by Andy and other staff. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Our server Darrell was detailed about the menu. The sushi was amazing! Our steaks were cooked to perfection!!! The customer service was outstanding by everyone. We love dining at Jeff Ruby’s!! Adele Fontan

I had been wanting to go here for a very long time and the restaurant did not disappoint any of the excitement I had built up. Great service in a fun and very appealing with a wonderful story to tell. Great for two or the whole family. The warning is it can be loud when it is full because of all the hard surfaces. However, the variety of rooms in the unique building helps.

Great people that work there with good service. The food is very good and the old fashioned and the boozy milkshakes are really good. It was our second visit and it won't be our last.

So much to love about 211 Clover. It’s always so put together yet unassuming. Like a great outfit almost. Had a nice Christmas lunch with a girlfriend. Cocktails and the shrimp salad were light and refreshing. Warmed up with the lentil soup. We were in a small room with a groups of ladies having a birthday lunch. So it was loud, but that’s to be expected. Lovely afternoon.

Our server, ERNESTO was excellent and attentive. The quality, flavor and presentation is Top two steak house in Louisville. Jeff Ruby’s and Capital Grille are top , then Stoney River and Ruth Chris. You definitely PAY for the quality and ambience! Took my wife and Sons, who are in town for the holidays. They loved everything about it!
