The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Had never been to Dave Burke’s before but all 4 in my group state they will go to the restaurant again.

                                                                                                                          So my opinion is using a high bar of expectations, based on costs & reputation. As a foodie of sorts I expected alot and while a good restaurant, it fell far short and would not return. The tableside preparation of the Ceasar Salad & Steak Tartare was lovely & service was good, we waited 15 minutes between taking salad plates & getting the tartare, despite specifically asking to have it right after. I was very excited to have the tartare prepared with bone marrow & fresh truffles (a true foodie experience) and while beautifully prepared tableside, it was shockingly very short on flavor (even the truffles, while clearly fresh and shaved in front of us, were lacking). Our aged Steak (using their patented process) was fine but not at all special and the foie gras side was swimming in butter (odd). The highlights were the fresh popover w/ sea salted butter, sautéed mushrooms & cotton candy. Bottom line, good but not great for the price

                                                                                                                          We visit frequently and the service is unfortunately hit or miss., we really wish there was consistency. Some servers go the extra mile(warm towels and folded napkins) others leave something to be desired (forgetting to bring steak knives or check on tables). The food is excellent otherwise we would not come back so frequently.

                                                                                                                          This place is probably the best steakhouse my husband and I have been to. Everything is amazing and so is the service and ambiance. The complimentary cotten candy at the end of the meal is really cool and actually tastes great. The only thing we thought was odd was the plastic advertisement of a piecaken that took up space on the table. It seemed out of place for such an upscale establishment. But regardless, this place is great! We will go back for sure!

                                                                                                                          We have dined at Prime several times over the years and thought it was top quality food however it was not quite the same this time. The soup and potato side were bland and just eh. We will try a new spot to eat next time. The service was excellent however.
