Best Wineries in Lake Sarasota

Our dinner was absolutely delicious and our waiter Kyle was always available and respectful. We had the mushroom flatbread which is always our go-to appetizer and lobster bisque, which is also delicious. We all had different entrees. I had the salmon dish and it was amazing, as always. My husband had the scallops with risotto which were cooked beautifully. Everything was very good. We will definitely be back after the holidays.

This is an excellent high-end steakhouse. I had the jumbo lump crabmeat cocktail to start. My husband had the wedge salad. Both were excellent. He had a rib eye and I had a filet. Both were prepared perfectly and served with the delicious Courvoisier cream sauce. We ordered the creamed corn as a side, which was also delicious. We were celebrating a major new purchase and received a complimentary dessert to top off our meal. Our server Sean was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to celebrating another special occasion there.

We visit Cooper’s Hawk often and always have a great experience. On this visit nothing has changed. Our wine came out quickly, appetizers were hot and delivered before the meal as expected. My husband had the pork chop and grouper from the “surf and turf” selection. He thought they were both delicious and served hot. I had my usual, soy salmon and was not disappointed. We had seen some of the reviews from a few days ago and expected delays…. Not so. Considering the busy time of year, Cooper’s Hawk has their act together.

First trip here on Christmas Eve for an adventure and we were so impressed. The food was terrific and the wines (all Cooper Hawk) were very good (you never know about house wines). Great value as well. Four people with 2 appetizers, four entrees, one dessert, and 5 drinks averaged $60 per person. For the quality received and fun had was a very good value. Downsides a little louder environment than we might like but tolerable, and speed of service adequate but not special.

The service was outstanding, and remarkable, due to the specifics of this particular night. Our group was at Bavaro's in Sarasota during a busy holiday week, and on a night when the restaurant was a little understaffed, yet filled to capacity with patrons. Even the food met the standard that we have come to expect from Bavaro's. I tip my hat to you Bavaro's.
