We used to go to the one in Charleston and we discovered the one here and this one here is even better than the one in Charleston. The food, the service, the ambience everything was wonderful. - TTERRENCEMontreal / Quebec •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoNan Thai is an excellent Thai restaurant. Food quality is superb..service is wonderful. That said, it is an expensive restaurant! Diners beware!! Our dining experience was diminished by the add- on charges that were placed on our bill. We were offered still or sparking water. We chose still water. we were charged $6.00 for 3 glass of still water? A 20% gratuity was automatically added to the entire bill. Really!. Note: the 20% gratuity was based on the food cost of $263.00 + taxes of $23.41, +20% tip of $57.28 which brought the total to $343.69. I have been a restaurant waiter at various times during my life. I understand that tipping has changed. It was understood (until recent years) that the tip was based on a percentage of the total food purchased, not the liquor fee and the tax. I realize that in recent years tipping guidelines have changed. I normally calculate a 15% tip of the grand total food, liquor, and tax. To have an automatic 20% gratuity added to the entire bill resulting in a $57.28 tip was outrageous! I would have disputed the bill when it was presented, however I did not want my dining guests to be uncomfortable with the situation! Needless to say, despite the excellent food, good service I will not be returning anytime soon! I am not cheap nor do I like to be taken advantage of by add-ons of still water and 20% automatic tip added to the entire bill.More infoNan Thai Fine Dining - MidtownPrice: Very Expensive• Thai• Midtown•4.7

The game ran late and we had to move our reservation and they were great about helping us to get a table for our whole family. The food was out of this world. The building itself is beautiful. Thank you for a great experience.More infoAmalfi Cucina + Mercato / Downtown AtlantaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4
- DDianaVIPAtlanta Metro •58 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Absolutely loved the festive atmosphere at Nino's on the 23rd. When I made the reservation had NO idea how busy it would be. Santa was even there. Took way too long to receive our entrees but totally understandable considering the dining room was at capacity with a lot of large groups. I'll be back when it's warm enough to dine on your quiet porch. Dining room was too noisy. Servers were great by the way.More infoNino's - AtlantaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Buckhead•4.7
