Best Wine Bars in Lansing/Leavenworth

Brooke was the most wonderful server in the bar area. She made excellent recommendations on food, cocktails and wine! Loved the holiday ambiance in the vibrant bar area. The food was amazing as always. Thank you for making our annual holiday adventure in the Plaza one to remember.

We celebrated Christmas south my best friends and their husbands. It was our first time there, it was recommended by my brother. The food was great and our waitress, Erin, was wonderful!!

We have been fans of YaYas for several decades. Today was an awesome brunch experience. The food was excellent as was our table service. I gave overall service only 4 stars because it seemed like the kitchen was a bit behind meeting demand on an almost all of the entree dishes. The ambience is always lovely. Favorite dishes were the prime rib, salmon,the peaches and cream pancake and the amazing crème brûlée potato’s!

I was with 3 girlfriends who I hadn’t seen for a while. We took a while to order and then after the bill was paid we kept talking. The staff needed our table for a large party coming in with a reservation. They were very polite and never asked us to leave but dropped hints. I appreciated their professionalism.

My second lunch at Plate Italiano Moderno - Leawood. I was even more impressed this time. I ordered a pasta dish the first time and this visit the mushroom pizza was calling my name. It was delicious! To visit any restaurant during the holiday season I expect the noise level to be unbearable. I was pleasantly surprised that despite the number of large groups surrounding our two-top, we were able to converse fairly well.
