Best Wine Bars in River Oaks

Sat at the bar with Christian. His service was stellar. Made sure the food and wine was to our liking. Thoroughly enjoyed my twin lobster tails and side dishes of mashed potatoes and spinach. Christian is very personable and friendly. Will certainly return for dinner and happy hour as well. Met Christian on New Years Day for an after dinner drink…he insisted that we return for dinner at Fleming’s. It was by his invitation and insistence that we returned a few days later…accompanied with gift cards from Christmas.

Easy to make a reservation. On time to honor reservation and obtain a table. Great front desk and excelent server. Food and wine was good as,expected One guest thought one particular dish could have more flavour, so it was good but not great as were the other dishes. Definitely will return.

While I would prefer to sit in the main dining area, we were seated in one of the rooms off to the side. Not a big deal though. The food was great and the value was in line with most steak houses these days. What we really appreciated was the excellent service from one of the best servers ever. Maria. I would definitely resist her specifically next time we make a reservation. We have not eaten at The Capital Grille in over 5 years. However, I know we’ve had her as a server before. She was professional and beyond polite. So great food, great service means we will be back and in less than 5 years. Great family dinner last night. I think Capital Grille is lucky to have a person like Maria working for them.

Much better than last time. No yelling out table numbers as though we were at a bingo party.

The trout was delicious. The place has a lovely ambience. Our waiter was so sweet. The manager, Celeste was one of the best we have ever experienced. So kind and always smiling and friendly. She makes her guests feel welcome. Kudos to Seasons for hiring her.
