First of all, our special table was ready for us when we arrived, and, of course, we had their best waiter, Mimmo, who was just wonderful in terms of his service and personality. Both the veal dish and pasta with a delicious white cream sauce went way beyond our expectations. The meal was topped off with an out of this world rich Italian hot chocolate that I have not discovered anywhere else in the city. All of the staff is just so attentive and gracious and we are just counting the days until our next visit.More infoGran Caffe L'Aquila Philadelphia Italian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Center City•4.8

- RRaminSydney •1 review5.0Dined on 20 Feb 2025Tucked away in the heart of Philadelphia, this charming restaurant offers an authentic taste of Afghan cuisine. We ordered the Qabuli Palaw with Kofta and Chapli Kebab. The rice was fragrant and flavorful, while the lamb leg beneath the Qabuli Palaw was incredibly tender and succulent. The staff was warm and welcoming, adding to the inviting ambiance. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and relaxation, enhanced by heritage paintings, artifacts, and elegant decor. A must-visit for anyone looking to experience genuine Afghan flavors in a refined yet cozy setting.More infoSansom Kabob HousePrice: Moderate
