Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. The whole experience was enjoyable. It was nice to be in a restaurant that was not too busy at this time of year. The food was fresh and flavourful (particularly the Thai Green curry and Massaman). The salad was disappointing, mainly because, apart from the delicious dressing, it was a basic British Little Gem, cucumber and tomato salad. We will definitely be back!
