Best Tapas Restaurants in Lisle

We were surprised to be seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The chefs and front-of-house teams are amazing to watch in action. Every dish is so flavorful and creative and you never know what is coming next from your selections. Just note, it can get very loud since orders are being called out in addition to the already energetic restaurant behind you if you're seated in this location. Another great dinner at Girl & the Goat!

Service was outstanding as usual. Recommendations were very thoughtful, especially the wine. Learned that the manager has been there 17 years working his way up. This really demonstrates the level of commitment by staff and ownership. The entire staff are engaging and work hard to make you feel at home. It’s an old building but extremely clean. Even the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Suggestions: I really don’t have any.

Our Christmas Eve lunch was amazing. Juan’s attention and knowledge was on point! We will definitely be coming back to create more memorable memories. Food was delicious and drinks were invigorating. If you are a lover of tequila, mezcal and Spanish flavors this place is a must!

Beautiful brunch experience! From the engaging details of PUBLICO that were thoughtfully designed on the 1st floor space to the cozy “red glass room” which created a fun ambiance. The Latin American brunch menu which my church friend, Jan ordered a delicious double crab cake benedict with perfectly cooked poached eggs and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce complimented with roasted potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of the El Americano — eggs made to order (chose perfectly scrambled eggs), with 3 meats of sliced ham, maple bacon and chorizo sausage link along with those great roasted potatoes. Yum!!! Will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. Also service was very attentive by manager, Sandra, because we arrived for a late brunch at 1:30pm-2pm so there was just a few other tables. I think it was so new only 3 months open that this place — AltaVida! is a best kept secret because they haven’t done any advertising or promotion that they’re open for weekend brunch yet.
