From the vibrant streets of Barcelona to the charming villages of Provence, we observed a common thread—people eating & drinking with purpose & intention. It was the beautifully orchestrated symphony of flavors & traditions that inspired us on a deep level. The ritual of enjoying low ABV bitter aperitifs during "happy hour," savoring wine with dinner, & indulging in digestivos to conclude a meal—all done with a sense of appreciation & respect for the ingredients & flavors of each region. These experiences laid the foundation for Bar Copa—a place where we celebrate the Mediterranean way of life through simple, ingredient-driven dishes & a curated selection of low ABV aperitifs, wines, craft cocktails, & beers. Join us on this journey as we bring a taste of the Mediterranean to your table. Cheers to good food, great company, & of course, a full Copa!

We’ve dined at Rappahannock for over 12 years now. We’ve always appreciated the historic brick walls and rustic wood dining room. The food has never disappointed either. But tonight, we noticed that the dining area around the bar and bathrooms need some attention. It’s starting to feel more like a bar rather than a fine dining experience. It’s lost its luster, so to speak. Bottles of cleaning products were in the window near the hostess station and on top of the paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms. Not a good look. The bar area wasn’t as “polished” looking as it has been in the past. Everything needs a refresh. Although some may think it’s ok for the staff to wear t-shirts with the logo, it feels too relaxed, IMHO.

Definetly eat here. Humble decor but fabulous, imaginative food. We had a new cabbage dish that was an ideal blend of flavors. Vegan options were beautiful and tasy. The short ribs and house pasta were perfect for sharing. In short, order things that sound different and I promise you will be impressed. We ordered all 3 desserts and even the beets surprised. A must for relaxed fine dining.
