- RRowenaNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThere maybe a new chef but the steak was ok this time but I only go to Mastro’s NYC as I tell the world how Mastro’s make only the best of the best but this time, I was a bit disappointed on my steak. Of all the yrs I’ve been going there, this was the only one I was not satisfied with but service is excellent!! And the warm butter cake was hard, I don’t know why it didn’t reach my standard this time. I will for sure come back. Maybe there were not enough butter on the steak that didn’t have that flavor or so, or new guys in the kitchenMore infoMastro's Steakhouse - New York CityPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rockefeller Center•4.7

His recommendations for the meatball app and use the house bread for dipping was such a tasty way to go. He was able to switch some sauces and toppings around for my daughter to get the lemon butter sauce for her sea bass and she loved it. The rest of the family got steaks at his recommendation and they really melted in your mouth. It was our first time there but because of everyone’s professionalism we will be back!!!!More infoDel Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York CityPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown West•4.6
- SSarahanneNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoArrived at Del Frisco Double Eagle at 4:50 for a 5:15 pm Christmas Day reservation. Checked in with hostess and let her know we were going to be a party of 5, not 6 as originally booked. "No problem, your table will be just a moment" At 5:15 I get a text that my table is ready. When I approach the hostess, she states "you booked Del Frisco Grille, not here" I questioned how she checked us in and let us stand around for 25 min. She stated, "oh well". When I inquire where Del Frisco Grille is I was told a couple of blocks away. I asked for address or directions but was told to "use my phone, it's not difficult." Fortunately, as we were walking to the Grille the hostess called to see if we were on the way. I explained what happened and she assured me that my table would be held while we bobbed and weaved through the crowds on the street. Once there it was a lovely evening. Food and service were great. Perhaps the hostesses at Double Eagle could try to be a little more patient, helpful and kinder like the girls over at The Grille.More infoDel Frisco's Grille - NYCPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rockefeller Center•4.3
- MMa MilalieNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoMy group were 7 adults and a 4 yr old celebrating our traditional family Christmas Eve dinner. The staff were gracious. They were accommodating to my request that we be seated in main dining room and very attentive to the 4yr child order of her favorite crispy Calamari which is not gummy. We all agreed. She was served first! The steaks were delicious and juicy. The Branzino is cooked to perfection as well as the Grilled Octopus and the Shrimp Scampi. The side dishes of spinach, steak fries and mushrooms are so tasty. The Lobster Bisque soup is to die for. All of us agreed this the best dinner experience at Empire Steak House. Most importantly, we have the choice to order either Pre Fixed or Ala carte. Price is right!More infoEmpire Steak House- EastPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown East•4.6
