Best Steakhouses in Princeton

We always enjoys going to Char Steakhouse. Sometimes, it's for a celebration, like Father's Day or, at times like yesterday, we felt like having a great dinner with our loved ones. The steaks are always great and the sides are plentiful. Our server, Julie, was fantastic. She was very energetic yet, attentive. She really made our meal more enjoyable. We can't wait until we get to go back again.

I Had a friend’s dinner for a 60th Birthday celebration of my dear long time friend and Ruth Chris delivered. Frank the waiter was amazing and charming. Most importantly the food was “Outstanding’. The steaks cooked as ordered and everything was delicious. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience and memorable evening for The Birthday Girl and her guests.

The waiter seemed very inexperienced like it was his first night. I asked for a baked potato without salt and it had to be returned because the whole salt shaker was on it. I asked for mustard and got mayonnaise. Hamburger was tasteless!

Excellent service from bar to table. Steak for 2 was excellent. Can’t wait to return.

Our first experience, and we wonder why it took us so long? They are the complete package, amazing Tomahawk Steak, sides, everything. They even have Eric LeGrand Bourbon. Had to taste it. Lots of Rutgers memorabilia. Paul was our server. We have never experienced such a complete server. His explanations were epic, clear and concise. He graciousness was off the charts. you MUST request him!
