Best Steakhouses in Marina

What an amazing place! The service was excellent from the start. Ben was very gracious, getting our drink orders in quickly in spite of having a full room and always provided good service in spite of the rush of people and orders around us. We never felt rushed and had a nice leisurely meal - prime NY strip for one of us, filet medallions for the other, and the pancetta wrapped scallops with fettucini for me. The portions were very generous - the NY strip was about 12-14 oz, and prepared perfectly to medium rare as ordered and served with mashed potatoes and spinach which is a nice touch since many places have you order sides a la carte. Overall, a very nice experience and we will be back. The area has a lot of options for steakhouses, but the Whaling Station offered the best value compared to places we frequent in Carmel.

We dined at Mastro's to celebrate a friend's birthday. Although I've been here numerous times, it was my friends' first dining experience at Mastro's and they were blown away by the superb service and exquisite taste of their steaks and drinks. We want to extend our gratitude to our server, Rushawn. He went above and beyond with his knowledge of the menu, expertise with pairings, and overall with his service which made our dining experience so much more special and meaningful. My friends and I agreed that if the food was mediocre, we still would have enjoyed our 5-star dining experience all because of Rushawn. Rushawn, thank you so much for your time and for going the distance to have my friends' first Mastro's visit a memorable and positive moment of their year.

Fun evening with our friends. We got seated right away. The food was very good. The service was slow and our waiter did his best but needs more experience. I did take exception to being charged $4.25 for a diet coke!!

We celebrated three special birthdays that were made even better by a perfect experience in every way. The exceptionally warm and attentive staff adds so much to this place, we felt like we were part of their family. And of course the food was excellent. The appetizer sea scallops dish is one of my all-time favorites. I had a double order as my main course, it was perfecto!
