Best Steakhouses in East Amherst

Food overall was good- great appetizers (the caesar salad was delicious as was the shrimp cocktail) but the steaks were all very salty... the seasoning used was overpowering at times. Child's meal was forgotten- was not brought out with adult dinners. Then, when meal came out, the steak for child was rare-medium... too bloody for a child to eat. The server did comp the child's dessert as recognition for the delay in food being delivered. Overall, it is a lovely restaurant and a great ambience-- but a bit too pricey for the average family on vacation.

What a wonderful dining experience we had last night. From excellent service to absolutely mouth watering endless cuts of meat and salad bar. The lamb was superb and the pineapple 🍍 was put of this word. The live band and dancers set the mood for festive fun. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wa to an extordinary dining experience.

Last night was my husband's and my first time ever going to this restaurant and in my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Buffalo we have been to. It is our Anniversary and we had Victoria (Tori) for our server and she was so knowledgeable of the menu. I am Gluten Intolerant and she knew right away what I could indulge in and what was off limits. She had the specials memorized like a boss and was so attentive. The steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster risotto was delicious. The Limencello Margarita was the best margarita I have ever had, and I love tequila and margaritas! They have little biography cards on your table about your server, which I think is a great touch. I can't wait to come back to Buffalo and come back to Giancarlo's and request Tori!

Highly recommend black and blue if you are looking for an amazing dinner and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Sleek decor without that sterile all metal look. I would not recommend it for the little ones, not because the restaurant discourages it, but as this is a dining experience, it is not geared for children. The other customers are there to enjoy their dinner. Tonight, just as we were leaving parents brought in a little one who shreaked several times and I noticed some customers startle. For parents reading this I do indeed love children, have 5 and 9 grandkids and twin great grands. This grandmother is just giving her opinion.

Truly loved the service. However there was an over charged error on my receipt. I was certain that the Kansas NY CLSC was 64.00$ instead of the 78.00$ charge & paid for on my receipt. Quite unfortunate l didn’t catch it before leaving.
