- BBertCalifornia Central Coast •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoYou pay a lot, you get a lot: it's a high end steakhouse. The meat is excellent and well prepared and presented. There is the usual range of other stuff and sides/salads etc. if you don't want meat. So check their menu if you are considering but want something besides red meat. The service was also terrific. I have 2 criticisms, which many will take issue with. First, portion sizes are huge, ridiculously (imo) so. I don't get it, although it may have something to do with economics: you occupy a table for 2 hours, so they have to charge more to make it work economically, so they provide huge portions to make you feel it's worthwhile. I suppose that's the American way. Second, it was rather noisy and difficult to hold a conversation at times. This was of course due to the fact that they were packed, even on a Tuesday night, which tells you something. Also, I'm old, so perhaps somewhat aurally challenged. Enjoy.More infoFleming's Steakhouse - Walnut CreekPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Walnut Creek•4.6

- JJohnSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Feb 2025After officially retiring, I decided to take the family out for a celebratory meal. Our waiter Carlos, was great!! The appetizers were delicious!! We had the cheesy crab garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread, potato skins & calamari. Then on to the main meal, we had prime rib, filet mignon & an open faced steak sandwich. The drinks were also good. To top that off, we all had a piece of chocolate cake. There was six of us & we couldn’t have had any better service. FYI there was a couple of my family who are extremely picky, which none of them were disappointed. I highly recommend The Brass Door. I read a couple reviews about it being too noisy. We went on a Monday night & it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully y’all have just as good experience, if not better than we did.More infoThe Brass DoorPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• San Ramon•4.2
