Best Steakhouses in Arden

The gorgeous views are part of the draw to Oak Steakhouse, and even though it was a foggy, rainy night, the Oak stood out for service, delicious cocktails and outstanding food. Trevor, our server was attentive and courteous. Don’t skip the bread service!

My only negative was that the men’s room floor was very slippery. The floor outside the restrooms was also slippery. We had someone on a walker and we were a little worried about his safety. My mistake for not bringing it to anyone’s attention.

We had the petite filet Valentines day . The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes with the steals. Both sides were really tasty. we had a flourless chocolate espresso cake as a perfect dessert. It was decadent and rich. The service was good to great and the atmosphere was romantic and upscale. It's an expensive meal but the execution of all the meal components makes it worth the price. Ruth's Chris remains our favorite special occasion restaurants.

Asheville Proper proves time and time again to be FANTASTIC. The open air kitchen, the friendly wait staff (who all pitch in at all the tables)- the steak, The KALE AND SMOKED MEATBALLS!!!!! (Literally two of the best things I've ever eaten), the ambience. To die for. Colby was our server last night and he was friendly, made eye contact and helpful suggestions. We will always return.

We have eaten at this particular Ruth's Chris restaurant several times. The food never fails to be delicious. Server was helpful and considerate, very congenial. One of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at!
