Best Steak Restaurants in Waunakee

We came here for my son's 23rd birthday. It was a weekday evening and we were seated before our reservation time. Our server was very friendly and made sure to explain everything about our dining experience. Everything we tried was perfect. It was worth the 1 hour and 20 minute trip to get here. If you have a special occasion, or just love excellent food, don't hesitate. Visit ASAP.

It was my first visit, the cioppino soup was ohk, I enjoyed the beef mushroom rivioli and the birthday dessert . Mitchell was our server and he did an excellent job of serving us .

Service was spectacular. Waiter knew everything on menu. His recommendations were spot on. The table side Caesar salad is the best I ever had. The truffle fries appetizer had the perfect amount of truffle oil and cheese and fries were perfectly crisp. Entrees were amazing... had the lobster risotto such a huge portion with large portions of lobster. Husband had the filet bone in was so flavorful. Definitely will be back.

Once again, the Statehouse delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. We brought two out-of-town couples to the New Year's Day brunch. Our original table was so close to the live band that we would have had difficulty talking with each other; we inquired about possibly being reseated and were immediately and graciously accommodated (even though we were a party of 6). Service was extremely attentive and efficient, without ever making us feel rushed. Having not seen each other for over a year, our group also lingered past the official morning seating close without incident. And of course, the food: heaping portions beautifully presented. The french toast and the pancakes were particular stand-outs! The Statehouse never disappoints -- the food, the service, the view, and the overall ambience are unparalleled in Madison!

It was a great experience. Our friends holiday party was made even better by the staff and quality of food and drinks.
